11 bingos. But not Wilcox which surprised me. Remember the photo of Title. Well this 49er has a similar photo
Yes Leo the Lion Nomellini
Nope on Standlee. But I just realized a trick question. The first ever draft choice was after the first season

Duh. Finally figured out it was Charlie Krueger.
The AAFC draft choice was either Six Yard Sitko, Doc Blanchard or Glenn Davis. I vaguely remember that both MR. Inside and Mr. Outside were drafted and one of them by the Niners. Blanchard went into the Air Force and never played pro football and Davis played for the Rams after they moved from Cleveland. He attempted a Hollywood career and married a star, maybe Terry Moore?

Terry Moore was married to Glenn Davis in 1951..... and they divorced in 1952. She was in many pictures including the original Mighty Joe Young and Peyton Place.

From 1947-58 the NFL used a lotto system for the first draft pick. Done until all the teams had the “bonus” pick. Who was the Niners pick? What Stanford player was one of the 12?
RE: 49er Trivia -
BobK - 09-03-2020
Bobby Garrett Stanford of course
Dicky Moegle or Matt Hazeltine ?
Missed you got Leo as you got so many right
Len Eshmont scored the first TD

Good guesses. It was Harry Babcock of Georgia. Played three undistinguished years. The Browns, probably the greatest team ever over a ten year period, knew that Otto Graham was soon for retirement even though he was still as good as ever. He had no more worlds to conquer. Paul Brown recognized that Garrett was the first of the Post WW2 passers who were going to change football from the single wing punt on third down era to the passing era. Alas Brown had trouble pivoting and Garrett was traded.
