In addition to the locus on the ABO blood group, these are interesting. There's a fair bit of work on the effect of interferon pathway mutations and COVID-19.

Some people have auto antibodies against type I interferons, which are associated with life-threatening COVID-19 infections.

Patients with deficiencies in the type I interferon pathways are also more susceptible to severe COVID-19.
