Completely OT, But Non-Political - Genuine Realist - 10-26-2020
Last night, I was delighted to learn that Berke Breathed has collected ALL of Bloom County, 1980-1989, available from Amazon at a high but fair price. It is on its way to my lair as we speak.
I already own the full edition of The Far Side. (Gary Larson is very much alive and living in Seattle. He just wore out being insanely creative every day. He turned 70 this year.)
What either of these guys could have done with Covid and Trump. They don't make cartoonists like they used to.

Incidentally, what happened to Scott Adams? All this time, I thought Trump was the PHB (pointy haired boss), and that Adams was lampooning PHB, but I guess not?

Gary Larson wrote the Sunday Times crossword puzzle a week or two ago. That's an impressive feat at any age, and especially at 70.

After 25 years Gary Larson started creating new cartoons this past July. He credits a new tablet making it fun to draw again:

Looks like I misread the blurb. If it said comedian as you note, then I projected the word cartoonist. Generated the story I wanted to see, rather than what was written. Too much alone time -- I'm making my own realities.
