Maybe this is the year to re-balance the schedule and put the Stanford home game vs. Cal to even years by playing Neutral field this year and @Cal next year. Cal has resisted this in the past but it seems this is the best chance of ensure Big Game happens this year.

So ironic that Cal was worried about Berkeley instead of what was going on in Tempe.
Then, Stanford announces that it was a failure in a protocol that kept Mills et all out for the last week and that they are available tomorrow.

I disagree. While I am sure there are players that are thrilled to play, many players consider practice and study as crucial ingredients to their game day performance. They recognize that football games are not simply pickup games, they take a full-week approach to the game. When I was a freshman I'd be all about playing anyone. But after that it wasn't just about going out there and hitting others. It was also about actually knowing what I and everyone else was doing.

ASU is in bad shape. Six staff, including Herm Edwards, have tested positive as well as "an entire side of the ball" according to program spokespeople. Will they even play another game this season?
(As noted by others, this outbreak is right in line with a post-Halloween party superspreader event)
