OT - Bills are Schooling 49ers -

Shanahan, for first time, is looking like second best play caller in a 'Niner game.
But Shanahan had another one of his piss poor clock management brain freezes today right before the end of 1H. (That makes about 4-5 glaring errors in his 'Niners tenure). You have to run the ball on second down when you're at/near midfield and burn a bunch of time off clock to ensure that Bills have no time left to score if you don't get first down in that series. Instead, it was pass (short completion OOB) and then INC. No time ran off the clock; punt; and of course, Buffalo went 50yards in 45 seconds for the FG before halftime.
Fortunately, it won't matter for the game outcome. But really, Shanahan has a major blind spot when it comes to precluding worst case scenarios at end of half or end of regulation.

Buffalo has by far the superior QB. That impacts both sides of the ball. Jared Goff is not as good as Josh Allen. The Bills beat the Rams and Seahawks too. And they would have beat the Cardinals were it not for a Hail Mary.

I wasn't paying a ton of attention, so I may be off by a tad, but ESPN showed a graphic that Shanahan is 0 for 20 something when the 49ers are trailing by a touchdown or more in the second half.
Zero comeback wins. Zero!!! Wow.

Montana had 31 4th quarter comeback victories. Which leads to this commercial:

These days you don’t need a QB like Kyler Murray but you do need one who can avoid a rush and throw on the run. Allen is that kind of QB. The 49ers do not have that type of player on the roster or on IR. So they have to be creative and get one.

Perhaps with a little Luck, they can find one.

What qualifies Andrew Luck to design a football stadium? Sure he has a degree, but has he ever designed anything that has been built?

As Cardcrimson once told me, “It’s a joke son.”
