TreeCast post-UCLA -

Final TreeCast of the 2020 calendar year is up! Breaking down the wackiness that was Stanford-UCLA with 3 Things you need to know from the game, and postgame thoughts from David Shaw, Davis Mills, Simi Fehoko, and Gabe Reid. Handing out hardware with The TreeCast Awards (Play of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Surprise of the Year, Most Improved, Under-the-Radar, Player of the Year). And asking a simple question: was this season worth it?
Link below. Enjoy! Thank you for listening...been a remarkable year, no?

Troy,
I really appreciated the Treecast more than ever this year. It was a welcome periodic companion on my daily walks around the neighborhood, while trying to get a little bit of exercise, but mostly a break from the four walls of my quarantine existence. While this has been primarily a Cardinal football podcast in the past, your interviews with Stanford athletes and coaches from other sports were just as interesting to this listener. I hope you will consider continuing with that aspect of the show during the football offseason. Let's get the virus under control soon so that you can return to the booth this spring. "Mask it or casket"
All the best!

Echoing BBM, I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed the podcasts this year. I listen to them on daily runs so they have helped me stay fit during COVID. Thank you.
One topic that you didn't address in the UCLA podcast that I would love to get your opinion on who is staying and going.
Who is going pro?
Who is coming back for a fifth year?
Will any of the fifth years possibly stick around for a sixth year? (I assume not, but it would be a welcome surprise for a Shaffer or Robinson in particular to return as they both progressed this year and were valuable in positions of need).

Thanks Troy! I know it takes a tremendous amount of effort to produce/record/mix an hour-ish show so many times a week and I just wanted to add my accolades and how much it was appreciated. Happy Holidays to you and yours and looking forward to a Cardinal 2021!

"Was it worth it?"
Your podcasts and the games themselves were a great gift to the Cardinal fans. The interviews, insight, and behind-the-scenes looks into the program were more important this unique season than ever before. T
hanks and I hope you enjoyed making them as much as we enjoyed listening.
I'm aware of the irony in declaring a free podcast worth every penny but let me say it would have been worth it at 10 times the cost! ;-)

Troy this was BY FAR the best year of the TreeCast! I really hope you will expand coverage beyond football and not just occasionally dabble in other sports. Your knowledge base at this point spans the athletic department, and that was so evident in the variety of interviews and commentary this year. Can't wait to see what's next in 2021!

Thank you all. Means a lot. Grateful for the support...and even the occasional disagreement! No matter what, I try to have fun with these, even when we're not talking about fun things.
Excited for good things in '21. Safe, sane, healthy, and happy holidays to all! Go Stanford.
