Gaffney was playing baseball in the Pirates' farm system until his retirement in 2019.

Loaded running back room. Mostert and Wilson are keepers, Coleman and McKinnon on the bubble and Hasty on IR but showed them something.

Probably also speaks to the quality of their OL as well. I'm sure John Lynch would love to have the QB depth that he has at RB...
Between Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle, they have enough pass catchers to field a most formidable offense (some more WR depth would be okay). Add the effective moneyball approach on defense, and they should be alright next season if they can stay healthy.
