2021 portal entrants, the early Pac-12 leaders
UA with 12 - not surprising with a new head coach
WSU with 11 - not too surprising after year one of a new head coach
Utah with 10 - what's going on in Utah?

For full context, some transfers as listed on 247 occurred before the Pac-12 confirmed it would be having a season at all. 3 of UA's starters left for other FBS programs in August to guarantee they would play, for instance.
Scholarship players in the transfer portal for intended transfer after the season (i.e. not for immediate PT during the pandemic season):
- UA with 9
- WSU with 9 (2 walk-ons)
- Utah with 9 (1 walk-on). What's going on in Utah, you ask? Older players aren't playing and want to play. Notably, 3 of them were older RBs, passed up by freshman phenom Ty Jordan who recently and incredibly tragically passed.
- Stanford with 1 (1 walk-on)
Also notable: USC DL Connor Murphy, younger brother of Stanford legend Trent Murphy and a former Stanford recruit himself, just entered the portal as a grad transfer.

It doesn't look like Connor made all academic while at USC.

Actually, neither Dylan Boles nor Stuart Head were on the team this season. They both left the team before the season began.
Dylan Boles, a walk-on defensive end at Stanford, has transferred to Northern Iowa, his home state.
