Considering that it was just announced that a Capitol Police officer died, perhaps not the best timing (though it was funny, and I myself had previously posted that same joke in another forum before I knew that an officer was fighting for his life).

Good for Mason!  He'll have a better chance of success at Auburn than he ever did at Vandy.  I'll drop in and say "Hi" next time I'm passing the campus   and he'll say " Who the hell are you?  And I'll explain and he'll say "You don't happen to have a 300 lb son who plays ball, do you?" And I'll say " No but I weighed almost 250 lbs. when I was young"  and he'll comp me some game tickets just to get me out of his office. And now I have cover with my Bama in-laws when they catch me watching Auburn and not rooting for their opponent.

Interesting how the thin blue line flag waiving crowd that celebrates when cops shoot Black people are directly responsible for the deaths of two cops due to their little coup attempt.
