Shot the second-lowest round of the day on Sunday to finish second at Pebble Beach, his best career finish. He was tied for the lead when he finished but Daniel Berger made eagle on 18 to win. I expect we will see him on TV a little more often this year.

For his second place finish, McNealy bagged $850,200. Nice payday. He did pretty well last year, winning $1,293,984 for 68th overall. He had 5th (AT&T pro-am), 7th (Barracuda) and 8th (Rocket Mortgage Classic) place finishes in 2020.

Nobody in the WR top ten played. Good for McNealey but consider the context.

Which ranking are you going by? FedEx Cup? Official World Golf Ranking? I think Cantlay who finished 3rd is top 10 in both rankings.

Going by WGR. Cantley WAS 11th before anyone teed it up on Thursday so yes nobody in Top Ten in the Field. Cantley’s tie for third vaulted him into #8. Could care less about the FedExCup, kinda like the Ted Cup... artificial.

Yes it was a weak field, but 2nd is 2nd and the $850K check still cashes
