Just saw a recently updated Top 10 QB list. Mills no 6. Behind Lawrence, Fields, Wilson, Lance and Jones. Ahead of Trask.

My prediction: Mills will be drafted between 3rd to 5th round and ultimately earn a second contract as a starting NFL QB.
This has nothing to do with me being a Stanford "homer" at all. Mills is a good athlete with a strong, accurate arm who I believe showed he can win against teams with inferior, equivalent, and slightly better overall talent.

He could move up to the second round, but whether he gets a contract beyond his rookie contract depends entirely on his durability

There has been some buzz around the internet (which is not necessarily among those who actually know anything) that Mills has been making his way up the draft boards, winning the slot as the "best of the rest" QB ahead of Trask. Arm strength seems to be a key characteristic for him.
Talk that the top 5 will go in round 1, then a gap to the next QB taken.
Fehoko also seems to be getting a little more attention ... at least from internet draftniks.

Most mocks have the Niners taking a corner in R1 and an offensive lineman in 2. One mock has the Niners getting Lance at #12. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lynch trades down getting a later 1 and either a high three. Their three is a bonus pick (end of round) because of Salah and is really a high fourth.
Mills is a project. Maybe a good one but a project nonetheless.
