Tied up 4-4 with 3:40 to go in the half.

We go up by 2 at the half (6-4).  We scored with 3 seconds to go on a great skip shot.  Our goalie has mad some great saves.

Stanford surges to a 9-5 lead with 4:46 to go in the 3rd.

Cardinal bursting the Trojans and spewing balls into the net.  It's now 12-6 at the end of the 3rd Q.

Trojans try to slip back into it, but still trail 13-8.  5:50 to go in the 4th.

We're keep it up on the Trojans.  It's now 14-9 with 3:19 to play.

We just keep stroking the ball into the net.  Now 15-9 with 1:17 to play.

Besides a sloppy 4th (so far) I think our defense has been really good, and so has our keeper.  On offense, it seemed USC would give our outside guys a lot of space, and we took advantage of it a few times.  I don't know a lot of the tactics or technicalities of water polo, but it seemed USC was really overmatched.  It could be just be an off year, who could blame them, but I wonder if we are starting to really see the fall of the USC water polo empire, now that enough time has passed since Vavic was fire.

We get our happy ending with a 15-9 win over the Trojans.  Our only two wins this season have been against USC.  We are now 2-3.
