Will that be 7 on the team next year?
2018: Brown
2019: Jones, Belibi, Prechtel
2020: Brink
2021: Demtre and Iriafen
If Williams stays that could potentially make 8.

EDIT: Thanks for the corrections Bob

There are 4 McD AA's from SoCal. We got 2 and USC got 2. UCLA fans have been complaining about Cori Close's inability to recruit local talent. This will make the complaints louder.

Congrats to Kiki and Brooke! Sad the game won't be played this year, but an incredible honor nonetheless.
Cori's recruiting has been struggling - especially relative to Stanford, USC, and even Cal's 2020 class a little.
She'll need a big time 2022 class if she wants to keep up in the Pac-12.

SCarolina will have 10 AA's next year (if everybody stays)

I am not sure that the number of McDonald's All-Americans matters that much as it's basically saying you have a top-24 player. Yes it's good to have a top-24 player, however we have had McDonald's All-Americans like Kailee Johnson or Ashley Cimino who have not panned out at the college level. I think top-10 or top-5 players are much more impactful than having say a couple of players ranked 21 and 22.
To me the more relevant thing about South Carolina next year is that they are getting the #2,3, and 4th ranked players. All of those players have the potential to be game changers at the college-level. Think of our recent top-5 players. Chiney - superstar. Jones and Brink - producing right away and potential superstars when their college careers are done.

Agreed; hopefully we'll have a similar class the following year. With Betts already committing and in the mix for Gardiner, Rice and Nnaji, we could bring in another game-changing class and we'll need it as Haley will be a senior and Brink will be a junior by the time the HS Class of '22 arrives on the Farm.
