Of course, some people, who don't believe in woofing gods, might say that Vandy may be a P5 team in name only.

Kansas State isn't exactly a world beater either. One big win vs Oklahoma last year, but otherwise meh.

No game is going to be a gimme next season, and I wonder how many other programs have 12 P5 teams on their schedule?

If we believe the Stanford football twitter feed, the answer is a big fat zero.

Pluses: the students should be back on campus by then.
Minuses: who knows what the status of the pandemic will be by then. Who knows what Santa Clara county will allow. Even if the pandemic has subsided and Santa Clara county will allow full stadia, a lot of people are going to be hesitant to go to crowded areas regardless (though, unfortunately, that is less of a fear at Stanford).

Do we know that all students will be on campus in the fall? I don't recall Stanford making that announcement.

An away stretch to start, but that's usual for odds years; KSU and Vandy aren't the toughest early opponents out there (though I'm not saying we win one or both...). Good to have more games once students (maybe) are back and it cools down. Bye is in the middle, can't complain too much there. Good finishing stretch at home; this fall later may mean more people can make it, so can't argue there. Friday games are dumb, but the Pac-12 is gonna keep doing them, like it or not.
Overall, nothing I'm amazed at, but no major complaints.

They are working toward that. With juniors and seniors invited back in spring, about half of undergrads will be on campus. Of course, most classes will still be online.
If 30% capacity is allowed, they could have 5000 students and 10000 season ticket holders.
Could they require vaccinations to attend?
There is only 1 away game after October 16, so there is more time for students and the general public to be vaccinated. Otherwise, we might see crowds of only 65+.
Oregon will be hosting Stony Brook. Have the Seawolves played a P5 school before?
They begin their delayed 2020 season (6 games) this week.
