MBASEB: STAN 3 USF 2 - BobK - 03-04-2021

Robinson’s two out walk off single wins it 7-6 over USF.  Tawa’s single tied it in the 8th

Tawa's single was with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. He, Robinson and Brueser have been really clutch early in the year.

Stanford wins another close one 3-2 today

There's a stunning lack of interest in a young, exciting 5-1 Stanford team. Sorry but that's sad

I'm interested, even though I haven't posted.

Whenever we have a game, please start a thread the day before with the game time and any coverage (e.g., MBASEB: STAN @ SF (Mon 2PM (Livestream)).  After the game is over, you can full edit the original post and fill in the score (e.g., MBASEB: STAN 4 SF 0). It's better to have a separate thread for each game.

There are so many Stanford sports ongoing that it is hard to keep track.

I'm excited to see the offensive production (the one shutout notwithstanding). Looks like Tawa has his groove back. I haven't paid much attention to the pitching, however. How does that look so far?

The pitching is spotty and inexperienced. BUT, when/if Palisch and Williams come back, depending on how they come back, it could be a game changer for the season.
