The following weekend Stanford plays 5 games vs Nevada, BYU and UCSB

Softball beats cal 3-2. Vawter with the win and a HR. Schultz also with a HR to break the 2-2 tie. Stanford now 5-1

I think weaker competition, at least weaker than the PAC. I think things will get a lot tougher in PAC play--I am hoping for a bit above 500

The Pac 12 is loaded as always. I may look later but a week ago 3 of the top 5 teams are Pac 12
The big tournaments that Stanford would have gone to were covid’d out abd cancelled
Stanford is 9-2 and plays BYU at 2 today
Stanford has scheduled a number of games and will have played 22 games before the first league game on March 26. All these non conference games are needed to play and win many to make the NCAAs
