Just to follow up, we finished 2nd, 6 strokes behind UW. Only a very strong performance on the final day put us in the hunt. A UW golfer was the medalist at even par. We finished as follows (66 entrants):
8 Englemann +4
T9 Krauter +5
T11 Ye +6
T11 Heck +6
T23 Seay +11

The men also played over the weekend up at Bandon Dunes. Finished T-6 out of 14. Once again, put themselves in a big hole on the first day and climbed a couple of spots on each subsequent day against a pedestrian field. 

There's no clear #1 on this team. Nobody has shown the ability to consistently post par or better and finish in the top 10 individuals, yet. While I expect they will get an invitation to the NCAA regionals, this doesn't look like a team that is going to qualify for the NCAA championships.
