Tournament Sunday - WWP and MSoc - Spiny_Norman - 05-02-2021

The women's water polo team is playing in the MPSF tournament this weekend. They faced UCLA in the semifinals yesterday. After splitting regular season games against the Bruins, the Cardinal rode a strong defensive performance to a 13-8 win. They play USC in the finals today at 2 pm with the winner getting the automatic NCAA bid. Live action should be available at https://mpsports.org/watch/

At the same time (2 pm pacific), the #4 seeded Stanford men's soccer team open their NCAA tournament against Omaha. Live streaming should be available at https://www.espn.com/watch/player?id=832286b9-f306-4cd2-a602-d259816b03f4

Final score was 2-0.  In looking for the game description I happened to see women's field hockey was established at Stanford in 1903, one of the oldest women's sports at Stanford.

Mens Soccer -- Stanford scores in OT on an unassisted shot by Wehan!!!  It took just 48 seconds in OT for us to score.  ALL RIGHT NOW!!
