P12 Football Media Day - Spiny_Norman - 07-27-2021
The P12 kicks off its football season today with Media Day in Hollywood. David Shaw will be there with Michael Wilson and Thomas Booker. For those who get the P12 Network, Shaw is scheduled to go on at 10:20 am.
The pre-season media poll picks Stanford 4th in North behind Oregon, UW and Cal. The pre-season All Conference team has only 1 Stanford player on the 2 deep - Thomas Booker, selected at both DL and as a special teams player. Honorable mention for Austin Jones, Michael Wilson, Walter Rouse, Kyu Blu Kelly and Ryan Sanborn (at punter).

Hank91 - are you there in person again this year? Always love your first-hand reports.
Edit - I see that Hank91 is there. You can follow his reports and observations at https://twitter.com/GoMightyCard

RE: P12 Football Media Day - Hank 91 - 07-27-2021
Hey, Spiny. Yes, I'm here at Media Day -- so good to be back! I'll likely have a full report later this evening or tomorrow. I just finished a twenty-minute sit down with Shaw, and I'm hoping to talk to either Thomas Booker or Michael Wilson or both in a few minutes. Fingers crossed.

Here's one quick thing that won't make my written recap. I asked Shaw if he could tell me anything about Josh Pakola, and his answer was -- word for word -- just what I expected: "Not at this time."

TreeCast was there as well! One of my favorite days of the year (and good to officially meet Hank91!). Along with Shaw, Booker, and Wilson, it was also great to catch up for an exclusive one-on-one with Bernard Muir. Link to the show in a separate thread. Check it out!
