Significant gender disparities in NCAA - BostonCard - 08-03-2021

Quote:The law firm found evidence of “systemic gender inequity issues" at the NCAA, including a reporting structure that treated women’s basketball officials as “subordinate” to those in the men’s game and media agreements that “significantly undervalued” the women’s game and harmed their ability to bring in sponsors.

Ah I see if the women play at the same location as the men they will be treated equally. I feel like I stepped back 100 years

Or at least a few years back, to when the Pac-12 co-located MBB and WBB tournaments in LA. That wasn't a terrible idea, but I think it's been better to have them separate.
