Only other non-conference date I've seen:

@Gonzaga 11/21

Texas fan board rumor is they play at Stanford their 2nd game of the season on ESPN.

"Stacked" is right. Away games at Gonzaga, Tennessee, and South Carolina, Neutral Court games vs. Maryland, Indiana, and South Florida, and a Home game against Texas is quite the non-conference schedule. I'd be pretty dang happy if we can escape that slate with only one loss.

I guess with everyone returning except Kiana, Tara feels that we have the experience and toughness for a brutal non-conference schedule. We only are replacing one starting position and our bench, even though we will have four freshmen, will still have plenty of experience in Lacie, Prechtel and Jump.

Maybe she was too busy with other stuff so she let Kevin Hambly do the scheduling for her...

I, for one, am excited at the prospect of seeing some marquee pre-season match-ups.  Even if it hurts us in the short term, I think it will benefit us in the long term.

I am with BC on this.   Learn to run with the fastest and struggle with the strongest.   Then no surprises in the second season.

Agree.  That Colorado loss last season still stings.

Really?  We won the national championship and you are still upset about a fluke mid-season loss?  Imagine if we had gone unbeaten in the regular season, then lost in the regional final against Louisville.

True, but we only play Arizona once, at home.

And loving the PROGRESSION of this non-conference schedule:

-  start with 3 home games vs. non-Top 25 teams (although Texas even without the graduated Charli COLLIER might still be Top 25)
-  road game vs. Top 25 team (Gonzaga)
-  neutral games vs. the #8 (Indiana) and #4 (Maryland) in the Pre-Season Power Ranking, and another Top 25 team (South Florida)
-  2 home games vs non-Top 25 teams
-  road game vs. Top 25 team (Tennessee) and the #1 (South Carolina) in the Pre-Season Power Ranking
