The three most-watched CFB games this past weekend all featured Pac-12 teams.

1. Oregon vs. some other team
2. Washington vs. some other team
3. Colorado vs. some other team
...
9. Utah vs. some other team
10. Stanford vs. some other Pac team

Given that the "some other teams" were tOSU, Michigan, TAMU, BYU, (and USC) it seems the Pac-12 strategy of playing big name out of conference opponents is a pretty good one, and supports the idea that an alliance between the PAC-12, Big-Ten, and ACC could be successful by providing more of these types of games.

Fox and ESPN drew decent late night numbers but games relegated to FS1 and ESPN2 didn’t show very well.

Playing large night on a minor network does not seem that attractive overall compared to an earlier slot on Pac-12 Network.
