UW's top scorer (12.0 ppg) and 2nd leading rebounder (5.8 rpg) 6'1 Forward VAN DYKE returns, and although they lost their #2 and #3 scorers (5'8 Guard SADLER's 10.4 ppg and 6'3 Center MILLER's 9.9 ppg) to the transfer portal, they acquired a more experienced, more potent and more experienced scoring combination in 6'9 Center MULKEY's 15.7 ppg and 5'11 Guard SCHWARTZ's 13.1 ppg, who were the 1-2 scoring punch of NIT champion Rice last season.

G  -  Lauren SCHWARZ    5'11   So    (13.1 ppg ;  4.2 rpg ; 1.6 3pts/g @ 42%  at Rice)
G  -  Trinity OLIVER         5'9      Sr     (4.4 ppg  at Baylor)

I don’t see three post players starting unless Van Dyke can cover a 3. But we shall see

I was just going by their starting line-up last season, which included 3 forwards/center:

SF  -  6'1 VAN DYKE
PF  -  6'4 REES  or  6'1 ROOKS
CC  -  6'3 MILLER

All of the above forwards/center attempted at least TWO (2) 3pters/game, but with new center 6'9 MULKEY primarily inside, they might go with a smaller starting line-up by replacing REES with another 3-point shooter like 5'9 Guard GRIGGSBY, who was actually their most prolific 3-point shooter last season. And this will also address the concern that projected starting PG OLIVER is not a 3-pt shooter
