So, we have room for three more unless one of Prechtel, Belibi, Jump, Jones Take a fifth year (or Brown a sixth).

With 2022 commits BETTS, TEPOLO and NIVAR and 2023 commits AGARA and OGDEN, that's 4 guards and only one post player.
And the 2023-2024 potential roster of 12 players so far only has 3 post players (BRINK, IRIAFEN, BETTS) along with 9 guards/wing.
Based on the above, can we assume that 2 of the remaining 3 potential recruits from the Class of 2023 will have to be
post or PF/C type of players?

I think it very possible Jump or Belibi take a 5th year. Which 2023 recruits do we feel we have the best chance at? Ashlynn Shade, Sammie Wagner? I’ve yet to see any list for Judea Watkins. Would be curious to see her finalists. Has she visited campus to anyones knowledge?

Post wise, it seems like Olivia Anderson and Amanda amuse should be our primary targets. Would also love to see Sammie Wagner come our way. And Shade but not so sure she will be (not based on anything, just a hunch.)

To my knowledge Watkins hasn’t visited. She left Windward for Sierra Canyon
I like Muse a lot but she’s a pure 5 ftom what I saw.

What year is Betts’ younger sister?

If we are needing posts to work with Brink and Betts, then we’d probably want Belibi and/or Prechtel to stay a fifth year. I could see Belibi coming back because she came in pretty raw, but has been improving her game.

Not necessarily. In the games she has played in this year, Demetre has been the PF or 4. And I have seen Agara listed as a 6’1 or 6’2 forward or PF. She has the athleticism to be a smaller 4 like Belibi. I’m guessing we take the three best players available and only 1 has to be a forward or post.

I agree with you about DEMETRE. At 6'3 and with a picture-perfect midrange game, she will be a stretch Forward in Tara's system.
During the 2023-2024 season, I kind of envision post tandems of 6'4 BRINK/6'3 IRIAFEN and 6'7 BETTS/6'3 BEMETRE. And whoever post recruit comes in from the Class of 2023 would be back-up for those two post tandems.

I watch about three games a year. I'd like to see them recruit a bruiser who basically says, "Come into the lane and you're not going to like it." Ben Gardner attitude.
