Men's BB: Stanford vs North Carolina A&T, Tuesday, 7 pm, Pac-12 Network -
Papa John - 11-23-2021
The Stanford men try to rebound from one of the worst halves of basketball in recent memory when they take on the North Carolina A&T Aggies tonight at Maples.
The Aggies are 1-4 with losses to UNC Greensboro, Jacksonville, USF and Wake Forest. Their lone win was versus Greensboro College. Last year Stanford played at A&T and won handily, and I would expect a similar result tonight, but then again I'm hopelessly biased.
Stanford-North Carolina A&T happens to tipoff at the same time as #1 Gonzaga versus #2 UCLA. On another thread, someone (Phogge?) had mentioned different basketball planets. Tonight would qualify.

Ingram is becoming the leader of this team.
We're letting them back into this game. Lead is cut to 4.

Lead is back up to 8, but the game would be over now if we could make our damned free throws.

9-0 Stanford run, and I think we will be alright.

Lead is up to 17 and all is right with the world.

Taitz has to get more minutes. He's the best shooter on a team that desperately needs shooters.

OTOH, Jones and Delaire were a combined 4/16, 1/6 from 3.

Did you hear Casey talking about Taitz’s assist to TO ratio the last two years? It wasn’t pretty. But I’m loving the team because that’s what I do.

I was at the game.
Raynaud is going to be a stud.
Ingram is a stud.
Delaire could be a stud.
Very good games from Murrell and Taitz.
MOC and Silva didn't distinguish themselves tonight.
Spencer is the upperclass voice that leads the team.
We let NCAT stick around for too long, but the game was never in doubt.
Onto conference play on a positive.

I watched this game and the UCLA-Gonzaga game. One thing (among many) that struck me was that Raynaud and Gonzaga's freshman phenom Holmgren have very similar skill sets (not skill levels), but are used in very different ways. It would have been interesting to see the reins taken off of Raynaud a bit more before league started.

Looks like Beskind only played 1 minutes after getting several starts? I obviously did not see the game, but any insight?
