First series goes about as we might have expected given where the two teams are.  Pass for negative yardage, rush for nothing, pass short of a first down.

Normally I can't stand it when a team runs up the score.  In this game I wouldn't find fault with Notre Dame doing so.  With Ohio State losing and Alabama probably going to lose in their conference championship, Notre Dame has a shot to make a four team playoff.

Well, at least we got a first down on that series., so… progress.  Also, it probably should have been a PI on that third down pass.  It is hard to catch the ball when you have one arm peeing held by the defender.
