no word yet on his top choices.

In the last few years, they have had QBs who have started (Daniels, Slovis) transfer after losing their "jobs" as we have (Chryst and Costello). A new era of transfers.

247 has indicated that Spencer Rattler is committed to South Carolina (wrong USC for Lincoln Riley), and he is joined there by one of his OU tight ends.  So far, Caleb Williams has not entered the portal.  The Jaxson Dart era may be dawning at USC.

What a ride for JT Daniels. Early entry freshman starter at SC, injured early the next year and replaced by Slovis, transfers and starts at Georgia, injured and replaced by Brennan, may play in the national semis. Maybe transfers again.

It's possible that someone may transfer in but Slovis entering the portal is about Dart having taken hold of that job.

Well he certainly wasn't coming to the west coast USC after being benched by Riley at Oklahoma.

You mean Stetson Bennett.  Yes, Daniels has had just about everything go for, then against him in his college career.  Boy wonder at USC to portal transfer after his 2nd year.  Then, just when you were thinking that he had been lucky to lose the starting job to Slovis and end up as starting QB for the Georgia Bulldogs, he gets injured again and loses the starting job to Bennett.  Where will he go now?

Charlie Brewer transferred to Utah to be their QB this year after he had started for the better part of 3 1/2 seasons at Baylor. But he lost the Utah job to Cam Rising and now he is moving again. Brewer is transferring to Liberty.

In more P12 news, QB Michael Penix Jr has transferred from Indiana to Washington. Penix was a 3 year started for the Hoosiers, but he was injured and missed extensive time in each of those seasons. The new UW head coach was his offensive coordinator in 2019 at Indiana.

Penix will have competition in Haener who gave the performance of the year for Fresno in the win over UCLA.

Bennett or Brennan? We had three Bennetts' in our grad class, three Kirbys' and a couple of Brennans' along with a Bannon and about 60 other Irishmen. In a relatively small class of 220. Most of the rest were Italian heritage. I get confused easily Astro.
