Reading a fair amount about him. I think he has a very very good chance if he closes out strong to be the Texans starting quarterback in 22. I don’t think there’s any free agent their going to sign – I mean why would any free agent want to go to Houston? And I don’t think there’s a quarterback in the draft that is worthy of where they’ll have their pick. Plus he’s been playing pretty well at times. He’s shown some promise. Which, unless you are Andrew Luck, is about all a rookie QB can do when drafted by an awful team.
Has a chance today to get his first win. Just threw a 22 yard touchdown on his opening drive.

If you string a bunch of "average" games together as a rookie QB, at some point that becomes pretty impressive.
Mills continues to mix good QB play with some poor decisions and mistakes. It probably grades out to an average performance today, but I think his confidence is growing.
I daresay that it's actually going to end up being a good year for Mills in his development. This is borderline miraculous, considering how the Texans are kind of a mess.

I know you aren't crazy about him, but has your view changed at all? I think he's shown quite well under the circumstances.
