I noticed the board looks a bit different today. A rebrand for 2022? In any case, has any functionality changed or is it just a little more rounded?

I find it’s easier to tell bold vs not (already read vs new) on my phone now.

So far as I can tell, mostly cosmetic changes and clearer/better formatting options. I love the new look, on both mobile and desktop.

The look has changed but the content remains the same. The Giants/Niners thread continues to be the most active and most visible thread on this board. A board that purportedly is about Stanford Athletics.

Yep, it's all cosmetic, partly to give it a more 2020s look, but mostly to make it clearer which people made which posts and which controls go with them. I stayed up really late poking around with the CSS.

It looks good, but one niggle: on mobile, the square buttons below each message to reply/report/etc. have their symbol way off center upward.

Nice look -- but more important message from my POV -- thanks so much to all the work the Admins do on this board, including this update. You all do a terrific job and peons like me really appreciate it. Makes me proud to be a "cardboarder" (esp. when I compare everything about the Cardboard, including the format and presentation, to other boards. Nerd Nation has shown what it's all about.

I just now commented out a spec in the responsive stylesheet. It looks like it's fixed now, but I can easily put it back if it broke anything.

And second most is trivia. But to be fair, all questions regarding trivia and Giants/Niners are relegated to single threads whereas the infinitely wonderful and disparate Stanford athletic queries and missives all get their own threads.
And I think the Board's new look is stunning. Kudos to those responsible. Really nice look.

Agree with all. One niggle - the faint horizontal lines that used to separate cell-rows in the Stanford Football Personnel chart are now gone...

Good move! I would get tripped up by exactly that before the change.
(Not sure if anyone uses the save draft feature, but that's another than can trip people up.)
