WBB off-season suggestion for refs -

Have them watch two hours of bad foul calls on Brink. Zebras need to adjust to her long arms. She was understandably upset at several calls today.

Not a good day for the refs.

I would like them to also watch all of the non-called fouls when Brink is shooting in the paint.
Do you think Brink's beauty is playing a role in the bad calls?

Actually not. Suspect it’s more her unusual build. But I’ve been wrong before.

Often, when Brink was setting up in the paint asking for the ball, the defender had an arm wrapped around her waist. Is this legal?

Only when it happens to Brink. Anyone else, it’s a foul.

Just to call out the refs today, they were Cheryll Blue, Robert Scofield, and Alecia Murray. I thought Scofield was the main problem. Scofield seems to be an instructor of referees. So are we all deluded or is the problem even worse than we thought?

Scofield has been suspended before.
He also has worked 19 NCAA tournaments. The man is experienced.

Well that’s just swell. Apparently Brandon Cooper is not the only bad official. (Baseball, several years ago.)
