1. announcer saying Bellibi
2. Fran is best out there
3. Harriel clearly a newby - cold at first but warming up then hit 2 big shots late
4. Kiki and Brooke - similarly took a little time but clutch late

were behind then I think 7-1 last few minutes to grab the win

Thanks to two late three pointers by Harriel and Demetre, the Stanford teammate won. Harriel is pretty scrappy and confident in her three point shot, although she looked undersized playing with Iriafen, Demetre, and Bilibi. Nice to see her on the court playing in the game. If I am reading the schedule correctly, the next game for Stanford is tomorrow morning at 6:15am.

thanks for these posts. missed the game today, and 6:15 tomorrow sounds early.

last year, there were videos online after the games. 

anyone know either a way to record the games or to find videos afterwards?

Good news: they won again, though by time and not by hitting 21. Solid All around and yes Harriel is comfortable shooting. Hit a few outside shots; rest of team better inside. K-State’s very tall inside player at times tough on Kiki but also fouled a lot and other defenders found it tough to defend Fran. Brooke got some good rebounds but outside shot not hitting up to her standards. Then again their bodies may have thought it was 6:15. Also - I spoke to someone here to correct their pronunciation of Belibi so hope that and our loud two person cheering squad helped.

The Stanford women got it done against Kansas State today in 3 x 3 play by a score of 19-14. Baskets were pretty well distributed amongst the Stanford team of Fran Belibi (3), Brooke Demetre (4), Jzaniya Harriel (6), and Kiki Iriafen (6). A 3x3 game is won by either the first trio to score 21 points or by scoring the most points in the ten minute game. 
The game favors quick three pointers and Harriel was willing to comply. She score three of the four three-pointers the team Stanford made. Demetre scored the other. Belibi made her pre-game dunk before being very aggressive during game time. Iriafen was the most effective player going to the rim, scoring five field goals and one free throw. 
In 3x3 play, each basket scored behind the arc counts only two and closer baskets count one. Free throws also count one. If baskets were counted as they are counted in a standard game, point totals would have been Belini 5, Demetre 6, Harriel 9, and Iriafen 11.
Fun game, worth getting up at 6AM on a Saturday for it, and a great defensive effort by the Stanford players.

Stanford’s next game will be played at 12:50pm today against the other undefeated Group B team (if I am reading it correctly). Winners will face off tomorrow in a single loss elimination tourney.

Games are being played at Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield MA. It’s a 1-1/2 hour drive from Boston where I am this week!

The tournament is at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield.

Lost 21-19 to Texafornia. Could have won but no answer for Cox. Fran and Kiki seemed more aggressive offensively and defensively than Brooke and Janziya, who was guarded tightly and looked less comfortable than the past two games. Welcome to the big leagues!
