University spokesperson E.J. Miranda reiterated to The Daily that all students have access to meals and respite spaces with air conditioning, and that outlets to charge electronics are available for all students at respite locations.

Last year's Oregon game seems like the high-water mark. I don't know what the hell happened thereafter but it's like we fell out of bed.

I was surprised to hear about the outage because I thought Stanford still generated its own power at the Cardinal Cogeneration Plant on campus.
Turns out that the Cogen plant shut down in 2015, and as of a few months ago 100% of the electricity comes from a solar farm in the Central Valley:
