Charges down 38-10. Get ball back with a little over two minutes left. Herbert playing with torn rib cartilage. He stays in.
After game Staley said it was Herbert’s decision and he was “adamant” about staying in. Wow. Sit him down. Talk to him after game. Tell him we all admire your toughness. But there are 14 games left and we need you healthy. And if he bitches about it, remind him who is coaching the team. WEAK on Staleys part.

Staley has consistently demonstrated he makes decisions without weighing downside risk and game situation enough. A refusal to sit an injured Herbert fits his MO.
