All ESPN channels not available today on Dish Network and Sling - MVDan - 10-01-2022
Apparently, negotiations between Dish Network/Sling and the Disney family of channels have broken down and are currently not available.
They are available on Direct TV since I am watching it now.

I haven't subscribed to DirectTV since 2014 and they're still sending me solicitations. I just now added a subscription to Hulu in order to get ESPN and SEC channels. Kept my Sling in order to get Pac 12 and some other channels.

And Hulu is running a special until 10/5 for new subscribers--$20 off per month for 3 months. That'll just about carry us through the football season.

i have Dish Network. i'm actually quite happy with them, because they allow me to cherrypick which news networks i pay for and receive.
if i have to miss a few football games, then so be it.

I use fubo.tv. Bonus: their system will record games for you. No, you can’t download the recordings. Anyone interested in how I manage this shoot me an email.

UPDATE:
all ESPN stations, as well as ABC, have been restored to Dish Network, as of right now.
which is a good thing, as the Oregon State game is scheduled to be televised on ESPN.

Having DISH I looked up the network for the OSU game next Saturday since I am not traveling for the NFL. Saw it was on ESPN. Thought for about a second about not being able to watch. Then thought, 8pm... who cares.
So now I’ll probably watch and fall asleep in the third quarter missing probably nothing worthwhile.
What has happened to Stanford football is only comparable for me to a time sitting in the rain with about 7,000 other souls in 1960 in the Old Bowl watching Dick Norman lead a final game winning drive for the 0-8 Tribe against Oregon State College. Then Dean Hinshaw clipped an OSC defender and it was soon 0-9. The next week a bad Cal team delivered the final blow in Memorial. As a young teenager I still couldn’t wait for next year. Now next year 2023 seems like it will be worse.
