Other Games Today - old spanish trail - 10-15-2022
Colo leads the Bears 3-0 at half. It's "the Mike Sanford era". I didn't realize they had picked him up. When did that happen?

Now 10-7 Buffs early in the 4th quarter.
In other action, the Vols are up 21-7 against the Tide late in the 1st quarter. The Tennessee fans are proving to be the 12th man with all the noise they are making. Alabama is threatening after a failed prior drive.

That is definitely more recent!
Early in the 3rd quarter, Alabama has now tied the Vols 28-28 after trailing 28-10 earlier in the first half. There were surrender cobras all over the Tennessee stadium. The Vols have seen this film before.

Does this momentous game in Boulder not set up a momentous 40th anniversary of The Play? Should all look forward to the second "most amazing, sensational, dramatic, heartrending ... exciting, thrilling finish in the history of college football!" ?
Probably not. kal doesn't spend much time looking forward to anything anymore. BUT -- the weenies will believe it's winnable. And it is "Seniors Day".

The fighting Harbaugh’s ran all over Penn State (like 400+ yards rushing). Michigan could well be undefeated when they play Ohio State to end the year.

With the game tied 42-42 and about 8 minutes to play, Hooker has a mix-up in the backfield, fumbles the ball, and Bama gets a scoop-and-score from the 10-yard line. Tide now up 49-42 with under 8 minutes in the 4th quarter. Considering Tennessee once led the game 28-10, that means Bama has outscored the Vols 39-14 since that juncture. Let's see whether Tennessee can respond.
