Blame the low attendance on Homecoming events….

RE: FOOTBALL: AZST GAME THREAD - CardinalSagehen - 10-22-2022

Rouse and Rogers appear to be healthy and starting. Damuni also seems okay. Not sure about David Bailey yet.

Bailey likely back next week.

Nice pitch and catch to Yuro.  First down!

---

And then Hump-Trees for a 1st down.

---

And then to Higgens . . . first down!!

---

And then we run the Daniels wildcat for squat

RE: FOOTBALL: AZST GAME THREAD - lex24 - 10-22-2022

Who are the announcers?  One of them just called Michael Wilson one of the greatest players in Stanford history……

---

Gotta catch that. Got the one on one coverage. Had a step. That is a play you have to convert.

---

RE: FOOTBALL: AZST GAME THREAD - martyup - 10-22-2022

Pretty disappointing to settle for 3 when we were moving the ball at will.  The Daniels wildcat is just too easy to defend.  If he would start to run and then pull up and throw it . . . likely TD.

---

SACK TREE-Cosmo!!

---

Refs hosed us on that PI call.  Perfect D on that.

---

RE: FOOTBALL: AZST GAME THREAD - dabigv13 - 10-22-2022

Goddammit. That PI was absolute horseshit.

TREE-MAYNE with a great catch.  Keep feeding him.

I guess we are giving up on trying to have a running game…

I like scoring on every drive, but a TD would be nice.

I don't think we are going to beat ASU with field goals.

Maybe 10 of them might do it.  If we can get some stops on D.

---

I'd like to see Karty get some 50+ yard FG attempts.  Maybe even 60.

RE: FOOTBALL: AZST GAME THREAD - BostonCard - 10-22-2022

The defense seems to have adopted a bend and then break strategy.

Meet the new defense
Same as the old defense

Sadly in no league that I know of does a soft defense coupled with an anemic running game lead to success.

Kick the FG.

RE: FOOTBALL: AZST GAME THREAD - BostonCard - 10-22-2022

At least we didn’t punt.

Would have loved to see Karty try.
