SPOILER ALERT: IF YOU ARE RECORDING THE BOWL GAMES TO WATCH LATER, YOU MIGHT WANT TO AVOID THIS THREAD UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT KNOWING THE OUTCOME BEFORE YOU WATCH.
The Incarnate Word vs SDST game was a good one. Worth watching if they replay it.

It was a great game. Proof you can win by running the ball (NDST completed one pass for five yards). Of course, it helps where the opponent turns it over five times. I’m looking forward to Montana St. v. South Dakota State later today.

The Wasabi Fenway Bowl is a snoozer. Don't bother.
Starting to watch the Div III title game between Mount Union (14-0) and North Central (14-0). This is the second game in a row watching "Cardinals" play. I sure with I could watch Cardinal play in a bowl.

Funniest thing I've read today. Pity the fool recording today's bowl games. What, the Jimmy Kimmel bowl. Please.

I've watched some of the most entertaining college football of the season today. All recorded so I can fast forward between plays and commercial breaks.

Hard to believe that we almost beat ORST given how good they look against Florida.
Montana State (12-1) vs SDST (12-1) -- Temperature is 6 degrees and feels like -18.

our last opponent, BYU, stuffs a 2-point conversion attempt by SMU on the next-to-last play and wins the game.
SMU went for it instead of kicking the PAT to send it into overtime. an exciting finish.

Wazzu is playing in their bowl game massively depleted by players that opted out to enter the transfer portal. That's certainly not "love."

Southern Miss v TCU was fun. Almost gave up at half time, second half was quite a game. Frank Gore Jr had a game for the ages.....329 yards and a touch down pass.
On the other side, Rice wide receiver Luke McCaffrey, the son of former Denver Broncos receiver Ed McCaffrey and the younger brother of San Francisco 49ers star Christian, caught seven passes for 67 yards and also ran for 11 yards. Not a bad outing, but not enough help for Rice.

Rice went 5-7 in the regular season. What happened to the six win minimum?

I believe that gets occasionally waived if a bowl game can't find any team that meets that requirement.
5-7 teams have played in bowl games before.
I personally think a team should have to have a winning record to play in one, but given the plethora of bowls that wouldn't work.

A 5-7 team has to meet a specific graduate score/rate in order to play in a bowl. Rice of course easily met that requirement.
