Functionality help with PMs - cardcrimson - 01-19-2023

Apparently, I'm so prolific with PMs my allotted space is almost gone. I can easily delete messages I've received, however, I'm unable to delete messages I've sent. Use the same methodology, click the box next to the message, click the delete button. The former delete, but not the latter. Any thoughts? Using the latest version of Safari. . . .

I was able to delete a message from my Sent Items by your method.   I was able to do it with both Safari and Firefox on a Mac.

BUT NOTE: Deleting a message moves it to your Trash Can. To get rid of the space used by the message, you need to delete it out of the Trash Can.

Thanks! Didn't work for me on Safari or Chrome. Just stays put. I've even tried sending to the trash can to no avail. . . .

Are you perhaps using an iPhone or iPad?

I have no clue what’s going on. But you might try Firefox.

Oddly, it doesn't work on my iPhone, either. I can delete the messages one at a time after I open them, but not from the sent folder. All the other folders seem to delete just fine. Very odd. Tried transferring them to, they just stay in the sent folder. . . .

RE: Functionality help with PMs - M T - 01-20-2023

This sounds like a problem with your account (or its data) on the Cardboard, not a problem with how you read the Cardboard.  Maybe someone with admin privileges can delete some messages for you.

Did you try sending a test message (to me, say), and then deleting it?  Perhaps it is just messages older than some date that are a problem.  (My tests were deleting of messages from 2018.)

Just sent you a test message. It won't delete. . . .
