Women's golf - Valenzuela in the hunt for a major - Spiny_Norman - 04-22-2023

Albane Valenzuela is one shot back after 3 rounds of the Chevron Championship, the first major of the year on the LPGA tour.

She tees off tomorrow at 12:20 central time/10:20 pacific. Fans can follow the action on the Golf Channel from 12 to 1 pm pacific and on NBC thereafter.

Albane finished tied for 4th, 2 strokes out of the playoff, and earned $188,300 -- great tournament for her!
Andrea Lee finished T56; Aline Krauter did not make the cut.

Yes, Albane's first real paycheck.  I hope it sparks her game as it did Andrea Lee's when she won her first tournament.
