Tidbits from USC president Carol Folt statement:   "In our singular pursuit of excellence, I am committed to ensuring we have the right leadership in place to achieve our goals...now is the time for new direction grounded in our values and in expertise needed to fulfill our aspirational vision for Trojan athletics."

I might be reading this wrong but it sure sounds like casting some shade on Bohn.

Quote:Bohn made inappropriate comments about the physical appearance of female colleagues, including remarks about their dress, hair and weight, that staff members said made them feel uncomfortable, according to two USC sources with knowledge of the incidents. They spoke on condition of anonymity fearing retaliation. They said Bohn’s comments left colleagues — especially women — feeling awkward.

Three USC sources said several people confronted Bohn about comments they felt were inappropriate, but they continued.

I love the "grounded in our values" part. LOL! That shouldn't be too hard to find.

"grounded in our values" = "the end$ justify the mean$"

I didn't bat an eyelid. Figured it wasn't necessarily of his own volition.

Much like the Baltimore Ravens and criminal behavior, corruption and immorality are inherent in this "institution of higher learning".

I wonder what values the president has been deluded into believing he athletic department embodies

Good grief.  The LAT story cites several instances/examples/concerns from Bohn's time at Cincinnati -- BEFORE USC hired him.  Great job of due diligence, Toejams.

Apparently those instances were a feature, not a bug.

Sounds like the old girl wants to tidy things up for the transition to her new Conference. Hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta. Do. Right?

"Don't get caught."

(Just some cynical humor here.)

RE: Mike Bohn Resigns as SC AD - fullmetal - 05-23-2023

This probably wasn't Bohn's only disqualifier, but hey, I support a world in which U$C works to remove misogyny from its administration.  Long way to go, but I'm not opposed.
