Reverse boycott in Oakland -

It may not have any impact keeping the A's in Oakland, but it sure made clear the passion there is for MLB baseball in Oakland. And the A's have improbably now won 7 games in a row too.
Think MLB may let the A's go to Vegas and than allow an expansion team in Oakland?

The Oakland A's rise in 1971 with five straight division championships and three straight World Series championships coincided with my initial interest in baseball. I liked both of the Bay Area teams, I still do. Such a fun team, the Oakland A's. The A's have had a series of subpar owners, IMHO. Mrs. Mick was the college roommate of the daughter of one of them. Not surprised that the A's have suffered as much as they had.
If the A's had been allowed to move to the South Bay...if only.

Speaking as a Giants fan (born and raised in the East Bay), I have always seen Oakland as no different than any other team in the Majors. There is the San Francisco and everyone else. The only thing that made the A’s different than all the other clubs was their proximity to SF.
Their move to Las Vegas will have no impact on the Giants so why should Giants fans care one way or the other?

Ya, but if they were in South Bay they still could have lousy ownership.
Can’t overcome bad ownership.
