Questions for Hawaii locals —
How should I get to the Hawaii game? Should I drive? If so, where should I park? Or should I take a cab or a ride sharing service?
Are there any interesting pre-game activities on campus? Any food recommendations in or around the stadium?
Thanks.

I have no real idea how things are now, but based on many business trips to Honolulu in the past I would say do not rent a car, take a cab, Uber or some other service. First time I went to Honolulu on business I rented a car, parked, went to my all day meeting and returned to get my car. When I drove out of the garage, the parking bill was staggering. They used to charge whatever traffic would stand, but maybe they have relented now.

Parking looks like $25 per car:

I will have a car and some open seats if anyone wants to carpool. I'm trying to find out if there's tailgating...otherwise, I think others are getting late afternoon restaurant reservations nearby.

There is no official Stanford tailgate at the stadium due to a lack of facilities on-site (plus the weekday kickoff time).
If you go to the Hawaii Stanford Chapter group page on the SAA website, I think some KAs posted that they are gathering at a Waikiki restaurant-bar Friday from 2-4pm. I think they wanted money by Wednesday noon but you can try them to see if it’s not too late.

Cheers to the Hawai'i alumni chapter for a great pre-game event tonight!
