It looks like the wikipedia editors are mid-update. The new members are already on the table of men's sports, but not yet on the one for women's sports.  


Do we have any sports moving from a non-Pac-12 conference to the ACC? Field hockey, fencing, and indoor track?  

Speaking of field hockey, what's going to happen to UC Davis?  They and Cal are currently in the America East with us.

So what are the 14 sports (as stated in the announcement email) that we expect will be affected by the switch to the ACC?

That Wikipedia page lists 11 mens' and 13 womens' sports joining the ACC for a total of 24.

Of Stanford's 36 sports, these will be not be part of the ACC because ACC does not support them (from what I can tell):
artistic swimming (formerly synchronized swimming)
beach volleyball
women's squash
sailing
men's gymnastics
men's water polo
women's water polo
men's volleyball

The only sport that the ACC does support which Stanford does not is men's lacrosse.

Men's rowing, women's lightweight rowing.

The M/W fencing teams and field hockey team will get a Power 5 conference affiliation for the first time. Beach volleyball and men's rowing need to figure out their conference affiliations since the ACC doesn't sponsor either (but the Pac-12 does). All other sports should see no change in their P5/non-P5 status.

Other option would be to formally join the Ivies. Current D1 rankings are Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Penn, Columbia as the Power Five/Top Five. UC Berkeley is #6, then Brown and Dartmouth.

Stanford would never be invited to the EARC (Ivy-plus rowing conference).  They all have their established dual meet cups dating back a hundred years...and Stanford is not flying out every other weekend for a couple of races.

kal (Berkeley) is the defending national champion, and Washington + Oregon State round out the four Pac-12 men's varsity rowing programs.  Most of the west coast programs you listed belong to the Western Sprints conference, which sends their conference champion as their automatic qualifier to the IRA championship.  Every Pac-12 program is faster than the fastest Western Sprints school, so I doubt any invites will be extended.  UC-Irvine is a club program.  

Anyway, all four Pac-12 men's rowing programs are homeless.  I think the MPSF could be asked to host a four-team regatta.  Historically, the winner of the Pac-12 championship was an automatic qualifier to the IRA championship, and all three remaining Pac-12 programs would usually be given at-large bids to the IRA championship as well.  The programs are fairly important to the landscape of men's collegiate rowing.

NCSA sports is a high school recruiting site of questionable accuracy.  Their rankings are less reliable than US News & World Report, and I highly doubt they have a subject matter expert on staff (maybe they hired ChatGPT).
