They are 11 point favorites, which seems about right.
The bad news for us is that they have Travis Hunter back.
Buffs 34 Card 23.
This was one of the games that I thought we had a reasonable chance at winning at the beginning of the season.
I don't any more, but it should at least be a fairly close game

I predict our guys play better than some expect.
Showing some of that continued improvement that Coach TT and Co are presumably counting upon.
However, the Buff's are too fast, too explosive at times, and also at their high altitude home they are more used to, they outrun our winded guys too much.
So Buffs win 34-20.

I think Stanford can pull out the upset here. Colorado's offensive line, defensive line, and linebackers are not Pac-12 caliber. They are vulnerable to power football. I also think that Colorado isn't taking this game very seriously. I've checked out a couple of Colorado message boards. Colorado fans have already marked down this game as a W and it doesn't seem that the Buffaloes are taking this game all that seriously. However, they haven't beaten anybody good and they aren't as good as they think they are.
Is anyone else ANNOYED by the oversaturation of Deion Sanders coverage? I sure am. The media treats him like he is the Messiah. I think some of their players are arrogant. Shedeur Sanders is rapidly becoming even more annoying that Caleb Williams. I would love nothing more than to see Stanford lay a beat down on this team.

I think this is a Colorado rebound game.
Buffs 49 Trees 6
Hope we continue to improve but I’m not optimistic on the road.

I know our offense is no juggernaut, but if we can't score more than 6 points against Colorado's not-so-great defense we might as well pack it in.

Agreed. Neon's going to run it up if he possibly can. We're one of the last guaranteed wins (in his eyes) on the Colorado (4-2) schedule, along with Arizona. After Stanford, the Buffs have UCLA, Oregon State, AZ, WSU and Utah. 6-6 gets them to a bowl game. That dude's going to be working the portal hard...again.

The key to this game is Sanders throwing the ball and shredding our pass defense with no pressure on him.
Other than David Bailey, we don't get sacks.
Across six games, Shedeur Sanders has thrown for 2,000 yards --
leading the NCAA in total passing yards.
Penix from WASH is #2.
The best counterpoint is to keep Sanders off the field by controlling the ball with a decent run game... possible on COLO.
which has been elusive for us. After five games, no Stanford RB boasts more than 200 yards. This is pitiful.
After Hawaii, we have scored 10 points -- 23 -- 20 -- and 6 points. Where is our Offense?
Let's be charitable and we get 1 or 2 turnovers, and
keep it to 31 - 20, Buffs win.
Altitude might be a factor for our boys in Q4, the crisp Fall weather won't be.
Beyond Stanford, 4 of the last 5 games for COLO are against ranked teams. They need this win to go to a Bowl.

except this time he's going to likely be stuck with some of this year's 58 transfers in who are not major contributors and can't transfer to another FBS team and play next year

Ye of little faith! Who would have guessed at halftime. Have to give credit to a coaching staff that has instilled a never quit attitude and to #13 who catches anything near him. I hope he remembers how to do this next week.
