Cam is on a FT streak, she and Kiki are getting conference and national weekly awards, and we hope there will more to come for them and other members of the team. Discussion of these events are coming in stray places on the board. For example, an extended discussion of Cam's FT streak is on the Duke game thread, but also in bits elsewhere. I'm starting this thread in hopes that this sort of discussion can be brought together in one place, along with other honors that have to do with more than a single game.

If you're cheering for her to get the record, keep cheering.  Her new streak is at 8.  She has attempted 34 free throws in 5 games.  If she were to continue at that pace, she'll have another 68 FTA around the Washington game on January 7, potentially breaking the record then (8+68 = 76).  The single season consecutive FT record is 70.  Likely she'll miss some and won't get there, but she has the potential to break the record, miss one, and then break her own record again this year, all during the regular season.   There are 30 regular season games this year, plus potentially 3 PAC-12 tourney games plus potentially up to 5 NCAA tourney games. 

Not likely, but fun to think about.  If she keeps shooting 97.1% and 6.8 FTA/game, and Stanford goes to the Final Four, she would have 244 FT in the season (50 below the NCAA record).

33 of her 92 points (avg 18.4 pt/g) have come at the FT line.  Her FT shooting is yet another reason for her to maybe back off on some of the fouls that get called.  (My impression is that she gets called for a higher percentage of offensive fouls than most players.)

If Cam keeps it up at the FT line, as noted above by MT, she has an excellent shot at beating Stanford's all-time single season record for free throws made, 191 by N Ogwumike in 2011-12. Right now, her 6.8 ft/game average would result in well over 200 for the season, even before the NCAA tournament.  Also well within reach, Stanford's single season record for ft percentage, 90.8% by Bonnie Samuelson in 2014-15.  Go CAM! Make the other teams pay for fouling you.

Cam is once again Pac-12 player of the week in the Nov 27 honor list, following up on her being the awardee last week. I think it's great for her, but I also feel that Kiki was a good candidate. It may have been tough for Tara to decide who to nominate this week.

Brink was 21 pts, 19 rbs, 4 blocks in 26 minutes vs Albany and 19/9/6 vs in 16 minutes vs. FSU. Kiki was 30/17/1 in 27 minutes vs. FSU and 11/9/0 in 23 minutes vs. Albany. Either performance could merit POTW, though Brink's pops given the 10 blocks in a mere 42 minutes on the court.

Hannah Jump started the season with 283 made three pointers and has made 20 so far this year, putting her at 303.  She was honored during the Albany game when she hit 300.

The all-time record holder for most three pointers at Stanford is Kiana Williams at 311.

It is likely that we will see Jump break the all-time record this week.  She needs 8 to tie and 9 to surpass.  (All this assuming my calculations are right.)

And while we are celebrating Jump's success, may I point out that by percentage, this year, she is (temporarily no doubt) the fifth best three point shooter on the team!  (Unfair comparison, I know, but we do have some awesome shooters.)
