MVB two losses to Irvine - Mick - 02-19-2024

Men's volleyball has lost two matches to #7 ranked Irvine, both by 3-1 scores, at Burnham on Friday and Maples on Saturday.

5th year senior and starting OH Will Rottman hasn't played since the 6-0 Cardinal beat Ball State. Stanford has gone 1-5 since then.  Will Rottman is/was the best pin hitter on that team by a standard deviation, hitting percentage of .358. Next best is Moses Wagner at .243. Neither played in either match against UC Irvine.

Rottman's still listed on the roster. No idea why he isn't playing.

Back when Rottman missed the trip to Hawaii, Stanford said it was due to a "lower extremity injury".  I haven't seen anything other than that.  So no idea on prognosis.
