Outside of the purely political, this news story might be the single biggest indicator of our cultural degradation over the past 20 years.

There are a thousand more poignant indicators of cultural degradation over the last two decades than whether a snooty club in NYC giveth, taketh away, and re-giveth a football trophy named after a coach who engineered the biggest massacre in college football history. This is a head scratching move by the Voldemort Trust. The NCAA has not changed its finding that Bush and his family received illegal inducements to sign with an agent. Presumably that activity would still be prohibited even in an age of NIL compensation.
This story has needed detail and context on the events of the Reggie Bush affair. Note that Bush has a pending case against the NCAA for defamation.
