MBB signs Donavin Young - 82lsju - 05-14-2024

"We are very fortunate to have an opportunity to have Donavin Young as a member of our program," said Smith. "He fits the profile we are looking for regarding Faith, Family, Team and Academics, and he will provide excellent attitude, work ethic and pride in the program."

A 6-8 forward, Young averaged 15 points per game as a senior at Chiawana High School in Pasco before transferring to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri for a prep year. A late bloomer, Young is an electrifying athlete that can stretch his shooting range beyond the 3-point arc.

There's been no faith in the team for years, not concerned about a little now.

What's troubling though, is a recruit coming out of a Nike shoe box draped in toilet paper. . . .

I remember going to the halloween mausoleum party as the abominable snowman . . . covered myself in shaving creme head to toe.  Got a lot of laughs.  Then everyone realized that if they threw twigs and pretzels at me they would stick . . .
