Stanford football oddly quiet this year?? - Snorlax94 - 08-26-2024

So I did unsubscribe to some of the  Stanford Athletics emails because I was getting too many around the Olympics, but as a season ticket member I expected some emails by now but I haven’t seen anything.

I didn’t get any emails about a kickoff dinner — did  that happen this year?

I didn’t get any emails about the game this week, not even the typical one with information about game day.

I didn’t even get an email about my tickets. When I bought them I got an email about accessing the electronic tickets, but I haven’t gotten any emails since.

Is anyone else getting emails about this stuff? Did I just turn off too many mailing lists, or is Stanford football really this quiet this  year?

>> I did on Jul 30 and Aug 7, the event was on Aug 18

Same as above. I've gotten a few emails but nothing on camp or the upcoming season. I feel like since Shaw the football office has been quieter in general. No complaints if this means a better product on the field

their unsubscribe appears to not be very granular (not just an AD problem but also an issue I have had with other parts of the University).  Knowing this problem I used my "junk mail" email address to sign up for the Olympic emails to try and avoid this sort of problem.....
