I will say this. They looked like a credible team against the Orange. That's more than I thought would happen this year.

Georgia is that good. Staying in a game against the Tigers in Death Valley would be a real positive.

Clemson has a path to the playoffs that does not include running up the score like a G5 team. But, I've seen ol' Dabo run up the score before. Hope it doesn't avalanche on Stanford, but I could see that happening.

Clemson is a legit football factory.  The real question is whether our OL/DL can hold their own, and whether we can pass more quickly and accurately.  This weekend is a completely different type of orange-clad football opponent.

The hurricane just might end up canceling the game for us.  At a minimum it will disrupt our team's travel and practice.  The Tigers might be sliding down that hill in Death Valley on their butts.

Looks like it.  I mean, I don't know anything about the exact geography around Clemson, but that part of SC looks like it has some of the highest forecasts for rain and flash flooding risk.

But we don't win either.
Maybe postponed? til Sunday? Cause maybe we can't even fly in til Sat?
Once we do play, I predict it woulda been better to have not played and called it a tie.

The game itself is unlikely to be affected. The forecast for Saturday says partly cloudy with 4 mph winds and a 24% chance of a rain shower. 

As of now, the heaviest winds and thunderstorms seem to be earlier during the day on Thursday and on Friday in the early AM.  With any luck, they won't be too delayed for a Thursday evening landing... but I usually don't have that kind of luck with flights!

Tiger Paws are favored by 3 TDs at home in their lair, and they cover the points.  
Rude awakening for Cardinal at Death Valley (never been). 
CLEM hung 59 points, up 45 - 7 at the half with third string playing in Q4.  
4 different RBs had TDs.  Klubnik finds his receivers, and spreads it around.  
Their passing game is a nightmare matchup against us.

Rather, I think they voted against Stanford and kal because they didn't think our viewership was worth the reduction in conference payout.  It's just business, nothing personal, as they say.  I do think they're not going to take Stanford seriously.  Why should they?  We struggle to pass the ball, putting a heavy burden on the defense and nascent run game.  But that's the opportunity Stanford has to step up and take Clemson by surprise...just as Stanford did 17 yrs ago in the Coliseum...

of course it's expected to be partly sunny by kickoff time, but the flooding may well cause a postponement.
